A teacher by profession and a research enthusiast, I always work towards breaking the gender stereotypes of the society. I am specially interested in fighting against the taboos and stigmas attached to menstruation in the societies across the world.

  2. Presented a paper titled "Cross Border Experiences : An Analysis of Amitav Ghosh's select Novels" in an International Seminar on " Socio-Cultural Assimilation in North East India and South East Asia" organized by Jhanji Hemnath Sarma College on 30th April and 1st May, 2018.
  3. Presented a paper titled "Portrayal of Cultural and Mental Dilemmas : A Reading of Jhumpa Lahiri's The Namesake" in a National Seminar organized by Digboi Mahila Mahavidyalay, Assam on 1st and 2nd February,2020.
  4. Presented a paper titled " Construction of Sexuality :An Analysis of Assamese Folk Songs on Menarche" in a National Seminar organized by Sankardev Mahavidyalay, Pathalipahar on 20th February,2021.

1. Attended the 15th Theory/ Praxis Course at English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad from 2nd July,2017 to 29th July, 2017 organized by Forum on Contemporary Theory.

2. Successfully completed an Orientation Course at HRDC,JNU, New Delhi from 8th October,2018 to 2nd November,2018.

3.Attended a Faculty Development Programme on " Preparqtion of Self-Learning Materials for University and College Learners" organized by Dibrugarh University from 12th May to 18th May,2020.

4.Successfully completed a two week Refresher Course on "Re-energising Research : Interdisciplinary and Transcultural Approaches to Indian Literature" from 1st to 14th August, 2021.

5. Attended a Faculty Development Programme on " New Trends in English Studies" organized by Teaching Learning Centre(TLC) and Department of English, Tezpur University from 17th January to 21st January, 2022.
