Dr Karishma Hazarika

Dr. Karishma Hazarika received her Masters in Assamese from Gauhati University and Ph.D. from Department of Assamese, Gauhati University. Her research interests include Toponymy and Onomastics, Linguistic survey of Historical place names. She is an alumnae of the Department of Assamese of Cotton University. She joined Lakhimpur Girls' College as Assistant professor on 24th September, 2022.

Research Interest:
Socio-Linguistics, Psycho-linguistics, Communicative Assamese , Cultural Studies, Gender Discours, Onomastics.
